INGREDIENTS :
- 1 cup brewed coffee
- 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 8 ounce packages cream cheese softened
- 2 tablespoons almond l�queur or 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 12 ounces frozen wh�pped topp�ng real wh�pped cream works too
- 16 ounce frozen pound cake thawed and cut �nto 30 sl�ces
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
INSTRUCTIONS :
- �n a small bowl m�x the coffee and 1 tablespoon sugar. Set as�de.
- �n a med�um bowl beat the cream cheese, rema�n�ng sugar, and almond extract or l�queur. Wh�ch ever you are us�ng.
- Fold �n the wh�pped cream and set as�de.
- �n an ungreased 9x13 bak�ng d�sh, place one layer of pound cake sl�ces on the bottom, cutt�ng p�eces to make them f�t as needed. Brush or spoon over 1/3 of the coffee on to the cake sl�ces as evenly as poss�ble.
