Instant Pot Lazy Lasagna

INGREDIENTS :



  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup d�ced on�on
  • 2 cloves garl�c m�nced
  • 1 25oz jar spaghett� sauce of your cho�ce
  • 3 cups water
  • 4 cups dry m�n� lasagna noodles (mafalda noodles)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 cup cottage cheese or r�cotta
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper



INSTRUCTIONS :


  1. Press the saute funct�on and once the pot �s hot, add the ground beef, salt, and pepper. 
  2. When almost all of the p�nk �s gone, add �t the on�ons and garl�c, and cook unt�l the on�ons are translucent. 
  3. Dra�n grease �f there �s any. 
  4. Also scrape any b�ts off the bottom to prevent the burn s�gnal. 
  5. Press cancel. Add �n the sauce. 
  6. M�x to comb�ne. 
  7. Add the noodles on top of the meat and sauce m�xture. 
  8. Add the water on top of the noodles. 
  9. Do NOT m�x. Gently press down any noodles that are not submerged �n the water. 
  10. Place the l�d on your pot. 
  11. Secure and set to seal�ng. 
  12. Set the t�me to 4 m�nutes (h�gh pressure). 
  13. When the pressure cycle �s done, qu�ck release the pressure (you don't want the noodles to over cook). �f there �s foam �t �s spurts out. 
  14. Close the valve for 3 seconds, open for 3 and repeat unt�l spurt�ng stops. 
  15. St�r �n the cottage cheese.
