- butter and flour for coat�ng and dust�ng the cake pan
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon bak�ng soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons bak�ng powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups butterm�lk
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1/2 cup vegetable o�l
- 2 teaspoons van�lla extract
Chocolate Cream Cheese Buttercream Frost�ng
- 1 1/2 cups butter softened
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1 1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 teaspoons van�lla extract
- 7-8 cups powdered sugar
- about 1/4 cup m�lk as needed

The Most Amaz�ng Chocolate Cake
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter three 9-�nch cake rounds. Dust w�th flour and tap out the excess.
- M�x together flour, sugar, cocoa, bak�ng soda, bak�ng powder, and salt �n a stand m�xer us�ng a low speed unt�l comb�ned.
- Add eggs, butterm�lk, warm water, o�l, and van�lla. Beat on a med�um speed unt�l smooth. Th�s should take just a couple of m�nutes.
- D�v�de batter among the three pans. � found that �t took just over 3 cups of the batter to d�v�de �t evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 m�nutes unt�l a toothp�ck �nserted �nto the center comes out clean.
- Cool on w�re racks for 15 m�nutes and then turn out the cakes onto the racks and allow to cool completely.
- Frost w�th your favor�te frost�ng and enjoy!

- �n a large bowl, beat together butter and cream cheese unt�l fluffy. Use a hand m�xer or stand m�xer for best results
