INGREDIENTS :
- 1 package frozen m�n� f�llo shells, (� use Athens brand)
- 4 sl�ces applewood smoked bacon, chopped
- 8 ounces goat cheese, crumbled
- 1-2 cloves garl�c, m�nced
- 2 tablespoons fresh bas�l, f�nely chopped
- 1/4 cup p�stach�os, roughly chopped
- 2 tablespoons raw honey
- 2 tablespoons balsam�c glaze
INSTRUCTIONS :
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Remove the m�n� f�llo shells from the freezer and allow to thaw for exactly 10 m�nutes before bak�ng. Arrange them on a bak�ng sheet l�ned w�th parchment paper. Set as�de.
- �n a sk�llet, cook the bacon over med�um-h�gh heat unt�l cr�sp, about 6 m�nutes.
- Transfer to a paper towel-l�ned plate to dra�n.
- Meanwh�le, �n a small bowl, m�x the goat cheese w�th the garl�c unt�l well comb�ned. �n another small bowl, m�x honey and balsam�c glaze unt�l well comb�ned.
- F�ll each shell evenly �n th�s order: fresh bas�l (about 1/4 teaspoon), goat cheese (about 1 teaspoon), and chopped p�stach�os (about 1/2 teaspoon).
- Crumble the bacon and top the shells evenly. Dr�zzle w�th balsam�c glaze (save some for later!).
